Vashon Events is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building community and supporting artists-musicians on Vashon Island, WA. Our mission is to create, provide, and expand positive life experiences through music and art for all. We provide an information hub for Vashon Island including a business directory, information about events and classes happening on the island, and programs that support arts and local music. We believe that keeping Vashon Island vibrant means supporting our local businesses and artists. Our programming provides critical and unique support for artists and musicians. We also produce concerts and other performing arts events at festivals, showcases, concerts in the park, and venues all over the island. We believe the arts should be accessible to everyone, therefore all our events are free or low-cost. At the same time, at every event we provide, we ensure that musicians and other performers are fairly compensated.

CCCA works hard to equip members to provide camp experiences that allow campers to escape their hectic everyday lives, to get a clearer picture of God’s love for them, and discover their purpose and passion through Him. Camp America is a full-service cultural exchange summer camp staffing resource. Camps participate knowing that they facilitate quality application and interview processes as well as J-1 visas, insurance, interviews and program support for their participants. They are designated by the US Department of State in camp counselor and summer work travel categories. As a program of the American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS), Inc., they share the organization’s mission: to provide the highest quality educational and cultural exchange programs to enrich the lives of young people throughout the world.

Camp Burton and the Burton Coffee Stand partner to bring delicious pastries to the community, promote events, and connect with our neighbors. The Burton Coffee Stand often supports Camp Burton programming and fundraising… and you can frequently find our staff picking up coffee (which we live off of).
